Investors In Pupils
In 2014, 2017, 2020 and 2022 we were successful in gaining the Investors In Pupils Accreditation, which is still upheld now. We are one of very few Derbyshire schools to have this accreditation.
In 2022 we were successful keeping our accreditation for another 2 years - well done to everyone!
It is designed to develop pupils’ responsibility and participation in their own education.
The aim of this is to empower all pupils, increase self-motivation and help towards raising standards in our school.

Our School
As well as having displays around school, each classroom has its own Investors in Pupils display, this includes –
- A mission statement written by the children stating how they want their class to be.
- Individual pupil’s targets set by the children themselves and updated regularly.
- A class target on which all the children have to work together to achieve.
- An induction booklet which includes all the important information about class.
