Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
At Creswell Junior School we believe that every child should enjoy their education and be happy, healthy and safe at school. Every pupil with SEND in Creswell School has an entitlement to fulfil his/her optimum potential. We value our children for their individuality and we are committed to providing a learning environment of excellence with high standards.
Creswell Junior School provides a broad and balanced curriculum for all children. The learning experience and environment will be creative, challenging, exciting and stimulating and all children will be enabled to access the full curriculum and all the opportunities provided by the school.
Children may have special educational needs either throughout or at any time during their school career. We ensure that curriculum planning and assessment for children with special educational needs takes account of the type and extent of the difficulty experienced by the child.
Creswell Junior School is committed to meeting the needs of all our pupils. We will ensure that all our pupils receive the support they need to achieve their best. The views, wishes, and feelings of yourselves and your child, are most important to us and we endeavour to support you all in participating as fully as possible in decisions regarding the provision for your child to enable them to achieve the best possible outcomes.
