YOUNG VOICES 2024
Y4 had a brilliant time at Young Voices (08/01/24), they sang their hearts out and made memories that will last a lifetime.

REINDEERS VISIT SCHOOL!
For an extra special treat, we invited two of Santa's reindeer to school! They were very beautiful and very well behaved.

Problem Solving and Team Building Activities

As part of our 'Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds' week, all children in school took part in Yoga lessons throughout the week.

As part of our 'Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds' week, all children in school took part in T'ai Chi lessons throughout the week.
Y3 and Y4 Sport Experience Afternoon
Y3 and Y4 pupils had an opportunity to try a range of different sports such as: fencing, javelin and ultimate frisbee.
Y5 and Y6 Trip to The English Institute of Sport Sheffield
Y5 and Y6 pupils visited the EISS for the day. They spent the morning experiencing the range of equipment on offer at the venue (including: long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin, race track), and then competed in track races throughout the afternoon.
Trip to watch a professional netball match
Our school netball team visited The English Institute of Sport in Sheffield to watch a professional netball match. The match was part of the Vitality Netball Superleague, between Leeds Rhinos and Severn Stars. The pupils cheered along throughout, learning the ins and outs of a professional match. A tight match was decided with the last throw of the game... Leeds Rhinos winning 56-55!
Sport Summit at EISS - Y3
Some of our Y3 pupils had the opportunity to visit The English Institute of Sport in Sheffield for the day as part of Qualitas' Annual Sport Summit. The pupils took part in athletics events in the morning, before heading over to Ice Sheffield for an afternoon of ice skating... they even had the chance to work with former Olympians Dwain Chambers and Mike McFarlane!
